"Katie Morris" Angel Award

Choose Living’s KMAA honors one of the foundation’s special angels: Katie Morris, a young woman who bravely struggled to combat the cancer that attacked her young body—an effort aided by her commitment to “choose living.” Katie left an imprint on everyone she met, inspiring their lives before loosing her own when she returned to heaven on April 25, 2007. The KMAA was created in the memory of her extraordinary soul. Honorees of the award “Choose Living” like Katie did, and mirror her strength, courage and ability to empower others.
